The correct way to reference environment variables in ifdef sections is: <?ifdef env.MY_VAR?> ... <?endif?>. This works as expected. I have a Wix project that uses compilation constants and <?ifdef ?> for different build configurations. Is it possible to check if certain variables are defined using <?ifdef ?> and some kind of OR? ifdef, if, elseif and more... After reading the preprocessor documentation I didnt see any mention of this, but I figured Id ask anyways. ♦ ♦ Re: ?ifdef not working for ?(env.variable). It looks like expected behaviour of wix preprocessor. It screams, when sees undefined variable (ProductBaseline). WiX has some built-in variables.
